Terms of Use

By using ResumTube, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

ResumTube creates AI-generated summaries of public YouTube videos selected by you. You can paste a link or share it from another app, choose a language and length, and keep recent summaries locally on your device. No ResumTube account is required.

2. Your responsibilities

You may submit only content you are legally allowed to access and process. You must not use ResumTube to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights; bypass access controls; automate abusive traffic; disrupt the service; reverse engineer protected portions of it; or evade usage limits. You remain responsible for how you use generated summaries.

3. AI-generated results

AI summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. They are provided for convenience and are not legal, medical, financial, academic, or other professional advice. Check important claims against the original video and reliable sources.

4. Free access and usage limits

Free access currently includes up to 2 summaries per calendar month. ResumTube Premium currently includes up to 500 summaries per calendar month. Limits reset by calendar month and may be enforced using a pseudonymous installation identifier and purchase entitlement. Failed summary requests are not intended to consume quota. We may reasonably adjust limits for future periods and will update the app or listing when material changes apply.

5. Subscriptions

• Premium is offered as weekly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Eligible customers may receive a 3-day free trial. Eligibility is controlled by Apple or Google and is not guaranteed.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account after purchase confirmation and, when applicable, after the trial ends.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through your store account before the current billing period ends. Your store displays the exact price, currency, renewal date, and cancellation rules before purchase.
• You can restore eligible purchases from the ResumTube menu. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s or Google’s applicable policies.

6. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of ResumTube. Video availability, YouTube changes, provider outages, geographic restrictions, and unsupported content may prevent a summary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Intellectual property and third parties

ResumTube’s software, branding, and original materials are protected by applicable laws. You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process the selected URL and provide the service. ResumTube is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. “YouTube” and related marks belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, ResumTube is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or decisions made from an AI summary. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Termination

You may stop using ResumTube at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. Store subscription cancellation is separate and must be completed through Apple or Google.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

11. Governing law and consumer rights

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes.
